When a government ‘Tell us Once’ is completed I understand local authority/councils are notified. – Yes this is correct

Once the you receive this notification are departments and systems within Thurrock council updated? – All notifications are sent to various agencies by the DWP, including the local council to cancel Housing Benefit, Council Tax Reduction (sometimes called Council Tax Support), a Blue Badge, inform council housing services and remove the person from the electoral register. We have no record of choices made for any individual.  We update all our relevant systems based on the information received via tell us once.
