Request: 

In 2020 Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) announced a Levelling Up Fund of £4.8bn. My enquiry relates to the funds for Financial Years 2020-23 and the value of monies intended to fund new affordable housing and improve building safety.
Please provide the following information
1.    Was the Council advised of the Levelling Up fund for new affordable housing?
2.    Was the Council advised of the Levelling Up fund for building safety improvements?
3.    Copies of letters / emails received from the DLUHC advising of how to apply, including reminders, for new affordable housing funding.
4.    Copies of letters / emails sent to the DLUHC advising of the Council’s wish to apply for the new affordable housing funding.
5.    Did the Council share details of the funding and how to apply with the Housing Associations that the Council works with?
6.    Copies of letters / emails between the Council and Housing Associations advising of the Council’s / Housing Association’s wish to apply for the new affordable housing and/or building safety improvement funds.
7.    Copies of letters / emails received from the DLUHC advising of how to apply, including reminders, for building safety improvement funding.
8.    Copies of letters / emails sent to the DLUHC advising of the Council’s wish to apply for building safety improvement funding.
9.    The list of projects / buildings that the Council was targeting to benefit from the building safety improvement funding and their “building safety risk” profile.
10.    Dates and minutes of any meetings held with the DLUHC in relation to allocation of new affordable housing and building safety improvement funding.
