External systems and costs

Request: 

1.         Can you provide a list with names of all external systems used by the council such as payments (online, over the phone) , finance system (is it cloud based?), HR (e.g staff management for timesheet, annual leave etc) , payroll (e.g monthly payroll) etc

2.         Please list respective services areas against each system

3.         Cost of implementation

4.         Annual service costs

5.         Any assessment or review been carried out into the effectiveness of the system

Response: 

1.Can you provide a list with names of all external systems used by the council such as payments (online, over the phone) , finance system (is it cloud based?), HR (e.g staff management for timesheet, annual leave etc) , payroll (e.g monthly payroll) etc - Oracle

2.Please list respective services areas against each system – Finance, HR & Payroll

3.Cost of implementation – Original system implemented under a Strategic Partnership which has since ended so costs not recorded.  Various modules have been added to this system to expand it over the years since implementation

4.Annual service costs - £560k

5.Any assessment or review been carried out into the effectiveness of the system –

3.Cost of implementation - £77,170

4.Annual service costs - £88,000

Please be advised that the ICO will not consider your case until they have confirmation that you have already been through the Internal Review stage with the council.
