  1. What was PTB offer – This is usually for 4 journeys each school day, there and back in the morning, and again in the afternoon. We work out the distance between the child's home and school to calculate the amount we pay. This is paid upfront and then checked against the child’s attendance record from their school for the previous month.
  2. average cost of PTB’s i.e., petrol allowance, Health care assistants, carers etc –  Fuel reimbursement £9.71 per day; PTB £16.13 per day
  3. Travel Training, cost per YP, number of trainers, length of programme – information not held – currently researching travel training and options.
  4. Nominated lead within each area with contact details (email and telephone number) – Admissions and Transport Manager. Email: childrenstransport@thurrock.gov.uk Telephone: 01375 652883
