How many children were offered a place at Harris Academy Secondary School, Chafford Hundred as first preference for year 7 intake September 2023?

How many children were offered a place at Harris Academy, Chafford Hundred Secondary School, of which was not their first preference for year 7 intake September 2023?

Of these children offered placement for year 7 intake September 2023, how many were accepted under the following criteria:

Special Educational Needs (SEN) - 

Looked After Children (LAC) –

Children of Staff –

Catchment of Siblings –

Out of Catchment Siblings –

In addition to this, I also require the points of furthest distance from the school for each category. I understand that individual address may not be disclosed, therefore, can you please advise on each category in distance from the school itself in miles.

For example, (Catchment – furthest point of offer - 1.25 miles)

Lastly, please advise how many children have been placed on the waiting list for Harris Academy Secondary School, Chafford Hundred, from the above categories and what priority order the waiting list for admissions follows.

How many children were offered a place at Harris Academy Secondary School, Chafford Hundred as first preference for year 7 intake September 2023? 167 children were offered a place at Harris Academy Chafford Hundred who applied as a 1st preference for the school.

How many children were offered a place at Harris Academy, Chafford Hundred Secondary School, of which was not their first preference for year 7 intake September 2023? 13 children were offered a place at Harris Academy Chafford Hundred who applied for the school as a 2nd – 6th preference.

Of these children offered placement for year 7 intake September 2023, how many were accepted under the following criteria:

Special Educational Needs (SEN) -  9 children with an EHCP have a place at Harris Academy Chafford Hundred. The furthest distance offered was 5844.54 metres.

Looked After Children (LAC) – 6 children were offered a place at Harris Academy Chafford Hundred under the LAC criterion. The furthest distance offered was 3446.84 metres

Children of Staff – Fewer than 5 children were offered a place at Harris Academy Chafford Hundred under the Children of Staff criterion. The furthest distance offered was 20518.49 metres

Catchment of Siblings – 55 children were offered a place at Harris Academy Chafford Hundred under the catchment sibling criterion. The furthest distance offered was 2013.61 metres

Catchment – 106 children were offered a place at Harris Academy Chafford Hundred under the catchment criterion. The furthest distance offered was 1460.90 metres

Out of Catchment Siblings – No children were offered under the Out of Catchment Sibling criterion

Out of Catchment – No children were offered under the Out of Catchment criterion

Lastly, please advise how many children have been placed on the waiting list for Harris Academy Secondary School, Chafford Hundred, from the above categories and what priority order the waiting list for admissions follows. There are 25 catchment children, 5 Out-Of-Catchment Sibling children and 317 Out Of Catchment Children on the waiting list based on the information as at national offer day. Please note, this does not include late applications. The waiting list priority order is ranked in accordance with the admissions criteria for the school. This information can be found on the school’s website.
