Request:
1. The method used by your organisation to calculate commuted sums for Section 38 and Section 278 works (just the method used, not the rates).
2. The commuted sum maintenance term for structural and non-structural elements of Section 38 and Section 278 works.
Response:
1. The Councils Fee and Charges stipulate a 25% of the bond amount for Commuted sums for maintenance.
2. This on a case by case basis, with a maximum of 60 years for CSM time periods for large infrastructure such as traffic signals or drainage structures.
