Section 106 obligations

Request: 

For the following calendar years, broken down by individual year, 2020,2021,2022 and 2023 to date.

Please provide the following information: 

i)    The total number of section 106 obligations that have been amended after a development proposal has been accepted
ii)    How many of these developments still went ahead, otherwise unchanged 
iii)    The total number of section 106 obligations that have been completely scrapped after a development proposal has been accepted
iv)    How many of these developments still took place, otherwise unchanged.
v)    How much money the council should have received in payments from developers under section 106. 
vi)    How much money the council actually received in payments from developers under section 106.
vii)    The number of social housing the council originally agreed under section 106 in respect to developments. 
viii)    The number of social houses that were actually built under section 106.

If it is not possible to provide the information requested due to the information exceeding the time or cost limits identified in Section 12, please provide the information in part and chronologically with a priority placed upon 2022 data.   

Please also advise and assist, under the Section 16 obligations of the Act, as to how I can refine my request if needs be.

For the following calendar years, broken down by individual year, 2020,2021,2022 and 2023 to date.

Please provide the following information:

i)        The total number of section 106 obligations that have been amended after a development proposal has been accepted –

1 amended obligation in 2020 for a 106 agreement signed in 2015.  

ii)        How many of these developments still went ahead, otherwise unchanged 

The development was implemented.

iii)       The total number of section 106 obligations that have been completely scrapped after a development proposal has been accepted

No obligations removed in 2020-2023 from any signed agreements in any period.

iv)       How many of these developments still took place, otherwise unchanged.

v)       How much money the council should have received in payments from developers under section 106.

The value for all agreements signed in the following years, 2020= £628,794, 2021= £2,377,931, 2022=£2,474,063, 2023= to date £4,009,569.

vi)       How much money the council actually received in payments from developers under section 106.

Value received from any agreements signed in any period for the following years, 2020=£1,343,182, 2021=£1,624,849, 2022=£1,334,203, 2023=to date £1,519,388

vii)      The number of social housing the council originally agreed under section 106 in respect to developments. –

Number of units signed for in 2020=Nil, 2021= 62 Units, 2022=40 units, 2023=246 units.

viii)     The number of social houses that were actually built under section 106.
