Request: 

The request concerns the supply, service and maintenance of fixed and non-fixed disability aids equipment for residents living within the Council area, including:

•         ceiling track hoists,

•         stairlifts,

•         step and through-floor lifts,

•         mobile hoists,

•         shower chairs.

The details requested are:

1.       What was the Council’s total purchase and service expenditure for FY 2022-2023 for:

•         Ceiling track hoists

•         Stairlifts

•         Mobile hoists

•         Non-fixed disability aids such as shower chairs.

2.       What is the Council’s total purchase and service budget for FY 2023-2024 for:

•         Ceiling track hoists

•         Stairlifts

•         Mobile hoists

•         Non-fixed disability aids such as shower chairs.

3.       What is the Council’s year-to-date purchase and service expenditure for this budget for FY 2023-24?

•         Ceiling track hoists

•         Stairlifts

•         Mobile hoists

•         Non-fixed disability aids such as shower chairs.

If the Council is not able to provide a detailed expenditure analysis by equipment type in this way, please provide a combined figure for all personal mobility equipment together with a note listing the equipment types included.

Please show figures for new purchases separately from those for expenditure on maintenance and repair.

The Local Authority is not able to provide a detailed expenditure analysis by equipment type as requested, however we provided a combined figure for all personal mobility equipment together with a note listing the equipment types included.

Housing adaptation provision via DFG legislative frameworks have been excluded.
