From 8:45pm, Friday 17 September until 7:30am, Monday 20 September, due to essential maintenance, we will be unable to take payments online or by phone.

Please do not try to use these services during this time. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Other ways to pay

The easiest ways to pay are payment online or payment by direct debit.

Standing order

You can set up a standing order to pay your housing rent, by downloading the form below.

Standing order forms must be completed and sent to your bank, not to the council.

Pay by phone

You can use a credit or debit card to make a payment by telephone.

PayPoint

You can pay by cash at PayPoint outlets across Thurrock. Take your council tax barcode, barcoded invoice, or rent payment card with you to make a cash payment. Keep the receipt for your records.

From March 2017, we can no longer take payments through Payzone outlets.

Post Office

You can pay by cash, cheque or debit card at any Post Office. Take your council tax barcode, barcoded invoice, or rent payment card with you to make a payment. Keep the receipt for your records.
