Personal licence

Since 1 April 2015, personal licence holders no longer need to renew their licence.

Personal licences that show an expiry date will continue to be valid after that date has passed.

If you would like your personal licence to be replaced so that no expiry date is shown, you can apply by sending us your existing licence together with a fee of £10.50. The law does not require you to do this - it is a matter of your personal preference.
