New station for Stanford-le-Hope

Works are underway to redevelop Stanford-le-Hope railway station. The new development will include improved access, lighting, signage and a better bus stop to promote sustainable travel to and from the station.
Renewing Stanford-le-Hope rail station and transport connections are vital for access to new jobs at London Gateway and the Thames Enterprise Park, as well as local housing developments.

The project is being funded by Thurrock Council, the Government Local Growth Deal, the National Stations Improvement Programme (NSIP) and planning obligation funding from DP World. Our project partners are c2c, Network Rail and DP World.
