Thurrock strategies

A strategy to tackle violence against women and girls in Thurrock was published in April 2020.

Our protocol for homeless victims and survivors of violence in Thurrock was produced jointly with Changing Pathways and SERICC.

Our commissioning strategy for domestic abuse was produced jointly with Essex County Council and Southend-on-Sea Borough Council.

Efforts worldwide

The United Nations UNiTE to End Violence against Women campaign raises public awareness and increases political will and resources for preventing and ending all forms of violence against women and girls in all parts of the world.

The UN Virtual Knowledge Centre to End Violence against Women and Girls publishes evidence to help end violence against women and girls.
