What will the projects do?

Projects connecting the station with Port of Tilbury landing stage. Infrastructure and public realm works:

  • Project A: Station Hub                              
  • Project B: Hairpin Bridge
  • Project C:  Ferry Road Trail
  • Project D:  Tilbury Pier Approach
  • Project E:  Match funding for Heritage Lottery Fund – Tilbury Riverside Station.

Project D

  • Maintenance Schedule with Port agreed. Final price from contractor. Pre-commencement planning conditions ongoing.

Scheme completion: Autumn 2026

Project E

  • Grant Agreement finalised, awaiting internal sign-off, start on site March 2026.
