Public realm works to Tilbury Town Station
As part of the Tilbury Towns Fund Programme, improvement works are taking place at Tilbury Town Station from Monday 27 October on St Andrews Road.
The Station Public Realm Improvement project will deliver a range of upgrades, including:
- New street furniture and landscaping (hard and soft)
- Improved bus lay-bys to support future sustainable travel
- Enhanced connectivity between Tilbury Town Station and the Port of Tilbury landing stage
These improvements aim to create a safer, more welcoming, and better-connected transport hub for residents, visitors, and businesses alike.
There are currently temporary traffic lights in operation in the area so please plan your journey with this in mind.
