Applying for jobs and going for interviews can be daunting – especially if you've been out of work for a while – but help is on hand.

There are a number of free courses on offer in Thurrock to boost your confidence towards taking that first step.

If you're unemployed and lack the confidence to find work, you can get help and support from our Community Support Employment Officer. Contact them at Grays Jobcentre Plus.

Become a volunteer

Volunteering is a great way to boost your confidence, learn new your skills and pick up vital experience that can help you get a job. You check listings of:
