Applying for jobs and going for interviews can be daunting – especially if you've been out of work for a while – but help is on hand.
There are a number of free courses on offer in Thurrock to boost your confidence towards taking that first step. For example:
- New Directions – an 8-week course starting in January 2019, run by Thurrock Adult Community College to help you plan clear goals for your future and explore what you want to do next
If you're unemployed and lack the confidence to find work, you can get help and support from our Community Support Employment Officer, who you can contact at Grays Jobcentre Plus.
