Accident investigation
We investigate workplace accidents, potential accidents and 'near misses'.
As an outcome of our enquiries, we usually give advice to the employer. However, if a blatant breach of requirements is identified as the main reason for an accident, then formal action will be taken.
If someone has been injured at work and wants to pursue a compensation claim, they may want us to provide a statement about our investigation. A statement can be provided for a charge, based on the time required to prepare the statement.
