How to become a foster carer

If you've read our fostering information and are interested in becoming a foster carer, we would love to hear from you. There are several ways you can contact us.

You can let us know you're interested by registering your interest on the Foster East website.

You can also contact us by phone or email. Our dedicated team will be happy to speak with you over the phone to answer your questions.

Join us at our fostering events

Whether you're an experienced foster carer or interested in fostering for the first time, you can find out more at one of our online information events using Microsoft Teams. After a short presentation you'll have a chance to speak with our foster carers and our friendly team. We'll send you a link when you register by email to say which date you'd like to attend:

Confidentiality

When you apply to become a foster carer, all information you give us will be treated in confidence.

Equally, as a foster carer, you will be expected to respect the privacy of the children and families with whom you come into contact.
