Protect yourself and your baby – get your free flu vaccine this winter

Pregnant women in Thurrock are being urged to protect themselves and their babies this winter by getting the free flu vaccine.
The flu vaccine is recommended for all pregnant women, no matter what stage of pregnancy they are at. It helps protect both you and your baby from serious illness and is completely free on the NHS.

School Flu Vaccination Programme now underway: Complete an online consent form

Thurrock schools are taking part in this year’s school-based flu vaccination programme, helping to protect children and the wider community against flu this winter.
The programme is delivered by *Vaccination UK, working on behalf of NHS England. All eligible school-aged children will be offered the free nasal spray flu vaccine, which is a quick and painless way to help prevent the spread of flu.
