During their search, which was assisted by Billy the tobacco-detecting dog, officers found over 22,000 illegal cigarettes and more than 250 illegal vapes.

Caroline, a single mum and now proud grandma, has been fostering with Thurrock Council for eight years and has helped change the lives of around 30 children.
Her journey into fostering wasn’t immediate. It took several years of thought, attending information events, and the right life circumstances before she decided to apply.
While working full-time at a local council, Caroline was concerned about how she could balance fostering with the demands of her job.
