The Sunshine Centre and Hannah's Place are closed for visitors except by emergency arrangement. Our Disabled Children Short Break and Outreach Service is still offering support for families that need it.

The family centre workers are provided by Thurrock's team for disabled children. Information, advice and support is on hand for disabled children and their families.
We keep a register of disabled children for statistical purposes. The register lets us plan for the future supply of services for children with disabilities and special educational needs. Information is kept on a voluntary basis.
The Sunshine Centre is rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted.
