Following government guidance to limit the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), the Sunshine Centre is closed until further notice.

Sunshine Centre clubs

We run clubs at the Sunshine Centre for a range of activities and interests. Contact us if you'd like to know more about any of these.

Monday Club

Monday Club runs from 4pm to 6pm each week during term time. The club is for children aged 5 to 10 years - school years 1 to 6 - and offers lots of fun activities. These include:

  • cooking
  • arts and crafts
  • games
  • ...and much more

This club gets very busy so please make sure you book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Young Carers Club

Young Carers Club is for young carers aged 4 to 8 years - school reception to year 4 - who are living with either:

  • a disabled parent or sibling
  • a parent who dependant on drugs or alcohol
  • a parent who has mental health issues

These sessions give children the chance to be children and enjoy games, arts and crafts, and making new friendships. Join us on:

  • Thursdays, 4pm to 6pm, term time only

Saturday Club

Our Saturday Club runs from 10am to 3pm during term time, offering action-packed activities and trips while allowing family members some respite. It runs activities in groups for:

  • reception to school year 2 - red group
  • schools years 3 to 6 - blue group

There is also a Saturday Club at Hannah's Place, Treetops School for children with in school year 7 and above, or with complex needs.

The Sunshine Centre also provides a range of clubs during each school term break including a Summer Play Scheme.
