Overview
Telecare is care that uses technology to provide help and support to older and vulnerable people at a distance.
Sensors are placed in your home to help you stay safe and independent for longer.
You can live at home with 24 hours' support. The sensors will raise an alarm to alert friends, family members or the emergency services when you need help.
Telecare in your home can offer you:
- protection at home
- the chance to stay independent
- support so family members and carers can be sure that you are safe at home
- a choice in your care

You can get telecare if you meet our criteria and if:
