Council tax exemption for foster carers
Thurrock Council foster carers who live in Thurrock are exempt from paying council tax.
This exemption applies for foster carers who:
- live in Thurrock
- are registered as foster carers with Thurrock Council
- are available to foster
- had a foster care placement from Thurrock Council for a total of 6 months out of the previous 12 months
