Town Deal funding

The government's Towns Fund is a £3.6billion scheme to help improve the towns in which we live, work and enjoy being. It is set to boost jobs and grow the local economy. Go to GOV.UK: Towns Fund prospectus.

Grays is one of 101 UK towns on course for a new 'Town Deal'. This could bring up to £25million into the area for investment on improving Grays Town Centre.

Grays town investment plan

In partnership with the Grays Town Board, we are developing a town investment plan for submission to the government in January 2021. This plan will present a vision for the town and describe how it will be achieved.

The plan will be the basis for obtaining Town Deal funding from the government.
