Carers UK provides online support for unpaid carers and businesses that employee them.

Carers UK Digital Resource for Carers

Carers UK's Digital Resources for Carers provides online support to unpaid carers looking after a loved one who is older, disabled or seriously ill.

The website is free to access. You will need to create an account using a free access code that can be provided by your employer. If you are an unpaid carer in Thurrock and either don't have an employer or your employer does not have an access code, you can use the access code DGTL1974.

Employers for Carers (EfC) Digital

Employers for Carers (EfC) Digital is for businesses that are members of Carers UK's EfC forum. It can help employers fulfil their duty to support employees who have a caring responsibility

It should be used by staff who either:

  • are line managers
  • have responsibility for employee well-being – for example, HR, equality and inclusion teams

The site provides access to:

  • case studies
  • legislation and model policies
  • good practice
  • online learning
  • essential guides for employers, line managers and working carers

You will need your organisation's Carers UK membership code to access the site. If your organisation is a small or medium-sized organisation in Thurrock, you can access this service using our membership details. Email our commissioning team below for details.
