Grays Library is open today but there is no access via the Cromwell Road entrance. Baby Rhyme Time will still take place on Thursday (8th January) at 10.00 - 10.30am and 11.00 - 11.30am. The Library may be slightly colder than usual as we carry out the remaining repairs to the heating.
The Thurrock Libraries Writer's Group meets to support one another in their writing endeavours.
Thurrock Libraries supports local authors through the annual Local Authors Fair in June as part of the Essex Book Festival.
Local authors can also donate a copy of their book for the 'Made In Thurrock' collection at Grays Library.
As with any library group it is expected that the writers group fosters mutual respect and understanding of one another
