Child protection procedures
All children have the right to be safe and to be protected. All professionals must safeguard children. This is achieved by professionals working together and agencies co-operating to make sure children are protected within their areas.
The Southend, Essex and Thurrock (SET) procedures are used by professionals and all agencies working with or for children in these areas.
