On 7th May the Council approved a new 5 year scheme for Additional Licensing which comes into force on 7th September 2025. This is for Houses in Multiple Occupation with 3-4 occupiers in 2 or more households. Please see the Notice and map of the wards below.
If you live in a resident parking zone and need home visits from a carer, or more than one carer, you can apply for a carers parking permit.Carers parking permits are free.You may apply for only 1 carers parking permit per household.
If you are a private tenant and you think you're paying too much rent, you can get an independent rent officer to inspect the property and set a fair rent.
