Community Tuesdays

This is a regular event for residents to come and find out what local services, support and activities are available to help you live well and stay connected within the community.

Thurrock Council, along with health and voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) organisations, hosts a drop-in session for the public to find out information on different services and support that is available to help you live well with the increased cost of living.

These sessions take place at Morrisons in Grays Town Centre on the dates below:

  • Tuesday 9 June
  • Tuesday 4 August
  • Tuesday 1 September
  • Tuesday 6 October
  • Tuesday 17 November - moved forward due to Remembrance Period
  • Tuesday 1 December

No booking needed, just show up on the date that suits you best.

Your Local Area Coordinators

Our team of local area coordinators are out and about in the communities right across Thurrock offering residents help and advice.

The Local Area Co-ordination drop ins aim to support adults 18+ in leading fulfilling lives by connecting them with local resources and community networks.

The individual must live in Thurrock to receive Local Area Co-ordination support. Rather than offering formal care, they ask individuals what a good life looks like to them and guide them in finding local support to achieve it.
