You must apply to renew your Blue Badge before it expires.
We suggest you apply 2 months before your current Blue Badge is due to expire. (blue banner with information symbol)
Proofs will need to be submitted as part of your application to demonstrate that you meet the eligibility criteria, even if renewing your Blue Badge.
Photograph – this must be to passport standard and can be uploaded online. If sending your photo by post, ensure your name is written on the back.
Proof of entitlement or medical evidence
If you do not automatically qualify, you can provide recent medical evidence of your health condition or disability to support your application, if you choose. This may help speed up your application.

The cost of a Blue Badge renewal is £10. You will only be charged for this if your renewal application is successful.
