Think Family - Assessments
As part of our Think Family approach, we offer three specialist assessments to support children, young people, and their families.
All assessments are carried out by trained professionals within our team — we do not outsource to external agencies. These assessments can be requested at any time, especially during Public Law Outline (PLO) processes or court proceedings.
AIM3 Assessment
For young people who display harmful sexual behaviour.
This assessment helps professionals:
- Understand the level of risk
- Identify supervision needs
- Plan appropriate support and interventions
ParentAssess Parenting Assessment
Designed for parents with additional needs, this assessment uses visual tools and tables to help parents engage with the process.
It includes:
- A strengths-based approach
- A simplified Abridged Parent Report to explain the outcome clearly
Reunification Assessment
Based on a model developed by the NSPCC, this assessment helps decide whether a child or young person can safely return home from local authority care.
