What does the Think Family Service do?

We help children and families find solutions to challenges in their lives and support them to make positive changes.

Social Workers and their teams can speak with us to explore the best support options. We offer a range of services, including:

  • Individual consultations
  • Family assessments
  • Supervised contact sessions
  • Other tailored interventions

Our approach

We use our Think Family approach. This means we look at the needs of each family member and involve everyone in finding solutions.

Our work supports the Signs of Safety model used in Thurrock. Like Signs of Safety, we focus on a family’s strengths as well as their needs.

We work closely with professionals from both children’s and adult services to offer the right support as early as possible.
