Community mental health

We provide support for people with mental health difficulties.

In partnership with the Alzheimer's Society and Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (EPUT), we offer:

  • advice
  • information
  • social activities to older people who have memory problems and their carers
  • short-term intermediate care and assessments
  • help so they can access appropriate social and health services

Referral to us

The following people can contact us for you:

  • your family doctor (GP)
  • social services
  • other health professionals
  • family and friends
  • their agencies

We will:

  • assess your mental health and social care needs
  • offer you advice and guidance on how your needs may be met - this may be from within our team or by referring you to other health or voluntary agencies
  • offer on-going help in the community, including support monitoring if you have a severe or long term mental health problem
