Planning policy monitoring

Our authority monitoring report (AMR) reviews our progress in preparing development plans, and the extent to which our policies have been put into effect.

Following the introduction of the Localism Act, we now publish information on specific topics when it becomes available. We no longer produce a single annual report.

Published information

Reports are available on:

• council performance
• Local Plan progress
• housing completions
• planning infrastructure payments

Future reports will cover employment, retail and the duty to cooperate.

We also publish reports that show how we make sure there will be enough land in Thurrock for housing over the next 5 years.
