Admissions timetable
The timetable for applying for a primary school place is as follows.
Starting reception school
If your child was born between 1 September 2019 and 31 August 2020, you must apply for their reception school place for September 2024.

| Monday 15 January 2024 | Application period closes for on-time applications |
| Tuesday 16 April 2024 | Notification of offers are available from 12:30am |
Applications received after the closing date are treated as late applications. This means there will be far less chance of your child being offered a place at the school you want.
Transfer to junior school – year 3
If your child was born between 1 September 2016 and 31 August 2017, you must apply for a junior school place for September 2024.

Applications received after the closing date are treated as late applications. This means there will be far less chance of your child being offered a place at the school you want.
Transfer to another school between September 2023 and July 2024
You can apply for your child's transfer to another school – called an in-year application.

You should complete your application in good time to have the best chance of getting a place at a school you would like your child to attend. We work to process in-year applications within 10 school days.
