Short breaks for disabled adults
We can offer short residential breaks – or 'respite' stays – for adults aged from 18 years-old to 65 years-old who have a learning disability or physical disability, and who currently live with family or carers.
The place where you can take your break will depend on the needs of the person being cared for.
To find out whether you are eligible for short breaks:
- the person being cared for must have a needs assessment
- the carer must have a carer's assessment
