Paddlesport courses
We offer a range of paddlesport courses on Grangewaters' magnificent lake. If you've ever wondered what it's like to go paddling on our lake but have been unsure which craft to use, we invite you to join us on one of our beginners courses find out.
Paddle Start
Paddle Start offers fun and enjoyable practical sessions that are ideal for introducing you to paddlesport. During the day there'll be access to different craft for you to try out in a sheltered environment with continuous support and guidance from our British Canoeing qualified instructors. A skills assessment will be needed for 1 craft.
Paddle Start is a 1-day course, from 9:30am to 4:30pm.
The course costs £75 per person.
Paddle Discover
On this course your can develop your understanding of factors that affect your paddling so you can improve your decision-making and practical skills. During these session there'll be access to different craft for you to try out, as well as opportunities to learn new skills and build confidence. A skills assessment will be needed for 1 craft.
Paddle Discover is a 1-day course for those with some previous experience, from 9:30am to 4:30pm.
The course costs £75 per person.
