Learning at your library

Your new Libraries website – launching on 1 April

We will be launching our new Libraries website on Wednesday 1 April. The site will not only have an improved look and feel, for the first time you will be able search the catalogue, join, log in to your account and borrow books from the homepage. Our existing Library webpages may be offline from Friday 20 March, in preparation for launching the new site. All your account information will be carried across on Friday 20, and will be there in the new site. The App will continue working throughout. We have more information on our website

TikTok skills for small and medium-sized businesses

The TikTok platform can be a great tool for small and medium businesses. It's a marketing box of tricks that, when used well, can be extremely effective in boosting profits.

TikTok skills sessions for businesses are available in all libraries or online.

TikTok:

  • allows users to get creative with their content using filters, stickers, voiceovers, sound effects, and background music
  • has well over a billion users active worldwide each month
  • videos are viewed more than a billion times each day
  • is already used by many millions of businesses, including countless small businesses
  • adverts have the potential to reach over a billion adults aged 18 years-old and over

Sessions last 2 hours and you can come to as many as you like.

If you'd like to take part in a TikTok skills session, or any of our other learning and support sessions, simply complete the online form below.
