Learning at your library

Your new Libraries website – launching on 1 April

We will be launching our new Libraries website on Wednesday 1 April. The site will not only have an improved look and feel, for the first time you will be able search the catalogue, join, log in to your account and borrow books from the homepage. Our existing Library webpages will be offline from Friday 20 March, in preparation for launching the new site. All your account information will be carried across on Friday 20, and will be there in the new site. The App will continue working throughout. We have more information on our website

Web conferencing skills

Our free web conferencing skills sessions can show you how to organise or take part in meetings online using Microsoft Teams or Zoom.

Web conferencing skills sessions are available in all libraries or online.

We will show you how to download an app and then use video or audio to:

  • host a meeting
  • schedule a meeting
  • join a meeting
  • share a document
  • recording meetings with consent

Sessions last 2 hours, and you can come to as many as you like.

If you'd like to take part in a web conferencing skills session, or any of our other learning and support sessions, simply complete the online form below.

Register for sessions

Dates and times will be confirmed when enough people have registered for sessions to begin.

If you prefer, you can contact your local library to ask about taking part.
