Learning at your library

Your new Libraries website – launching on 1 April

We will be launching our new Libraries website on Wednesday 1 April. The site will not only have an improved look and feel, for the first time you will be able search the catalogue, join, log in to your account and borrow books from the homepage. Our existing Library webpages may be offline from Friday 20 March, in preparation for launching the new site. All your account information will be carried across on Friday 20, and will be there in the new site. The App will continue working throughout. We have more information on our website

Social media skills

Our free social media skills sessions can help you connect with friends and family, near and far, sharing your interests and creativity.

Social media skills sessions are available in all libraries or online.

Each session covers one of:

  • Facebook
  • X (formerly Twitter)
  • Instagram
  • Snapchat

Sessions last 2 hours and you can come to as many as you like.

If you'd like to take part in a social media skills session, or any of our other learning and support sessions, simply complete the online form below.

Register for sessions

Dates and times will be confirmed when enough people have registered for sessions to begin

If you prefer, you can contact your local library to ask about taking part.
