Householder planning applications

Contact details and site visits

Phone numbers and, where possible, email addresses are needed so we can communicate with the applicant or, where nominated, the agent.

Site visit

If we need to arrange a site visit directly with the applicant, we will need the applicant's contact information, even if an agent has been used. Phone numbers and email addresses will not be visible in the planning application details published on our website.

Where an application involves an extension to the rear or sides and this is not clearly visible from outside the site – where the back garden is enclosed in a high wall or fence – then a planning officer will arrange access with either the agent or applicant.

Proposals to the front or on open sites can generally be done without an appointment.
