To make sure our waste collection service is fit for the future, we've made changes to bin collections from Monday 8 April 2024. This includes a subscription service for garden waste collections.
Wheeled bins will be collected on your usual day around the May bank holidays, including collections on the bank holiday Mondays.
Your 3 coloured household wheeled bins are for different kinds of waste.

| Blue bins | Collections every 2 weeks on your usual day |
| Brown bins | Collections by subscription only, in the same weeks as blue bins on your usual day except when we pause for winter |
| Collection weeks | Every street is either be a 'Round A' or a 'Round B' street – each week we'll collect blue and brown bins from one round and green/grey bins from the other round, then swap over the following week |
In a small number of streets we have to collect waste and recycling in bags rather than bins. We provide bags to households that receive this service. Garden and food waste must be placed in bags with non-recyclable waste as we are unable to provide brown bin collections for these households.
You can check the normal collection day for any street and whether it's a 'Round A' or 'Round B' street by selecting the first letter of the street name:
